Producteev offers a new way to manage tasks from almost anywhere. Users can create accounts and register to use a number of different update formats, from Gmail, iPhone, and IM to Google Calendars and email. Users can send updates, such as a task or email message, and Producteev automatically compiles to do lists for the user. These can easily be managed to updated so important tasks are not overlooked or buried under a number of unrelated messages.
Founders Aric Lasry and Ilan Abehassera devised the concept behind Producteev after discovering the challenges that came with communicating and organizing tasks between interface experts and application coders. They saw the importance of scheduling to complete projects and, despite trying every other available web-based task management application, found no tools that were 100% effective. By taking the things they learned through their experience as application coders, Lasry and Abehassera came up with the tools found on Producteev to help others more efficiently and effectively manage their tasks.
Producteev stands out in the way it encompasses a number of different applications and tools. Regardless of what other people within a group or team use, they most likely have at least one or two ways to communicate through Producteeve. That makes it much easier and more convenient for everyone to keep tasks updated and stick to a changing schedule. Mobile features are also available for access while traveling or away from the computer.
The sleek, modern logo of Producteev compliments the rest of the site well. A dark blue background and gold navigation links create a combination of color that is very easy on the eyes. No excessive graphics or images have been included, just the important items in an organized layout and basic font style. New users can easily get on the site and find the tools they need to organize tasks and work more efficiently while saving time on the organizational details.
New Producteev users can choose to register through their Facebook accounts or the traditional way. Those who do not have a Facebook profile (or do not wish to link theirs) can click the gold “sign up” button at the top right hand corner of the homepage. The registration process requires the basics, such as a valid email address, first and last name, password, time zone and “use case”. An option image upload is also provided for users who want to enhance their profile on Producteev. As soon as the sign up button is clicked and the information submitted, new users can access their account and Producteev tools.
